How we investigate the existence of alien life?

The fact that we are surrounded by countless stars can surmise that there are alien life forms in the universe. The science that deals with trying to detect was called exobiology by the American scientist J. Lederberg.

Those who think that it's virtually impossible in the universe there were no other soles with planetary systems like our own are concerned with the search for extraterrestrial life, known as SETI by its initials in English (Search for ExtraTerretrial Intelligence, ie intelligence search alien).

This research is developed through the use of radio telescopes that can detect any signal emitted by living beings from another planet, or through the dispatch of ships able to take samples and conduct experiments on other worlds.

What are the objectives of research with remote sensing?

Remote sensors try to detect, on other planets, thermodynamic imbalances. The performance of photosynthesis, which would detect life forms, derived from that kind of imbalance.

A planet must have certain characteristics so that it can develop ways of life. These conditions can include the existence of atmosphere, the presence of fluid near the surface and in the event that the incidence of ultraviolet rays and charged particles that arrive with sunlight is large, some form of protection against these external factors.
