Empowerment is the operation performed to find a power, which is the product of a number multiplied by itself a certain number of times. The power has two main components: base and exponent. The base is the number that is repeated in the operation and the exponent expresses the number of times the base is repeated in the operation. For example, the power of 24 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 16, in this operation, 2 is the base, the exponent 4 and 16 is the potency. There are some special cases. For example, 0-based powers are equal to 0 (02 = 0:03 = 0, etc.), the powers with exponent 1 is equal to the base (21 = 2: 31 = 3, etc), and those exponent or worth 1 (20 = 1 :30 = 1, etc). On the other hand, 00 is an uncertainty.
The filing is an inverse of empowerment. Given a power and an exponent, can find the base raised to the exponent, gives the power in question.
The logaritmación is another inverse of empowerment, which allows, given a base and a power to determine the exponent to which we had to raise the base to find the power. Then, as BY = X, Y = logB X, which reads, and is equal to logarithm base B of X.
