Michel de Notre-Dame, known as Nostradamus, was a French physician and astrologer who developed numerous prophecies that arrive until 3997. was born in St. Remy in 1503. Jewish, but converted to Catholicism, studied philosophy, history, literature, grammar, rhetoric and medicine at the University of Montpellier. He became known as a doctor because of his hard work during an epidemic of plague. At that time wrote about the issue, warning about the benefits of hygiene, fresh air and good nutrition, especially low-fat to stay healthy. He began writing the prophecies in 1547 and published in Centuries, in the year 1555. expressed in rhymed quatrains, are hermetic character, which led to various interpretations that were made in different periods.
